The Sonic-Ski^® Plus Sensor with Sideshift functionality has the capability to guide a blade parallel to a reference.
This means: a given distance to a reference will kept constant as long as the mechanic is able to adjust the tool.
The control loop always tries to shift the sensor back to the centre when the machine is moving away from the reference. „Side Shift“.
